Amy Jeanroy, "The Farming Wife" has been writing about homesteading and rural living for 20 years. She currently lives on a 200 acre homestead overlooking the Bay of Fundy in Downeast Maine, where she grows gardens and raises livestock with her family. 

Amy is a Master gardener and has owned a greenhouse business since 2010, growing plants, produce and seeds for the farmer’s market. She grows herbs and makes herbal products for the farmer’s market and has taught many classes on herbs for the farm, greenhouse growing, fermenting foods, canning and preserving, pruning and livestock management. 

Amy has been a guest on the Martha Stewart Living radio show, the Take Care Wellness program on NPR, PBS’s Earth Eats, The Wisconsin Vegetable Gardener Podcast and Magazine and has been a speaker at the Nebraska Dairy Goat Association as well as at the Healthy Farm Conference, hosted by the Nebraska Sustainable Agriculture Society. 

Her work can be seen on About.com Herbgardens site, and Foodistas.com's  recipe site. She has written hundreds of articles on homesteading and rural living. And Amy has written numerous books on food preservation: Canning and Preserving 2nd Edition, Wiley Publishing, Canning and Preserving All in One, Wiley Publishing. Fermented Foods, Wiley Publishing and her latest book: Modern Pressure Canning-Recipes for the 21st Century, Fall 2017

Happy Herb & The Spice Gals Wear Red Pants!

Much of our marketing efforts will go to encourage families to plant herbs, vegetables and flowers together. We call it the "Plant it. Water it. Cut it, Cook it. Eat it." campaign. To support this effort, Danny Weinkauf will be writing and producing a song for Happy Herb & The Spice Gals which will be featured in their first music video. 

Danny Weinkauf is a Grammy winning songwriter and long time bassist for They Might Be Giants. In 2014 Danny released his 1st album for kids and families called No School Today. NST garnered many awards and several of the tracks received much radio play on stations such as Sirius XM Kids Place Live. That same year he put together Danny Weinkauf and his Red Pants Band which has toured all over the US playing everywhere from local museums to the Lollapalooza festival. He has since released 5 singles and released a 2nd album Red Pants Band in July, 2016. 

In addition to his solo work, Danny records and tours with the multi GRAMMY winning/platinum selling band “They Might Be Giants”. His work with TMBG includes writing songs for their children's albums No, Here Come the 1,2,3s, Here Come's Science, and WHY? (all RIAA Gold certified). During his 18 yrs. with the band, he has recorded several albums and performed extensively throughout America, Europe, and Australia. TV appearances include late night shows with Jay Leno, Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Fallon, Craig Kilborne, Craig Ferguson, and Jon Stewart, as well as, MTV, VH1, Blues Clues, and The Disney Channel. Danny has also worked with other groups including GRAMMY nominated band “Fountains of Wayne”, Academy Award nominated singer Mike Viola, David Mead, Lincoln, Mono Puff, and Stephen Fretwell. 

Danny's work in the field of film and television music includes writing and producing for shows such as Sesame Street, Disney, Nick Jr., Malcolm in the Middle (Fox), Sex and the City (HBO), Queer Eye for the Straight Guy (Bravo), Resident Life, Jon and Kate + 8 (TLC), ABC + CBS Sports, ESPN, History Channel, MTV, Travel Net, Food Net, National Geographic, Direct TV, The Ellen DeGeneres show, and many others. As the founder and main composer of Red Pants Music he has provided advertising tracks for Mercedes Benz, Saturn, McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, RadioShack, Burger King, All Detergent, Barnes and Noble, Tauck, Big Brothers and sisters, Teddy Ruxpin, Ikea, Kohl’s, Elmer’s, Merck, Payless, and more…
